@nikitabier@steipete There are a bunch of people posting great articles and when I try to send them to an agent to have a further conversation it's aggressively and intentionally impossible. And of course your half-assed API doesn't support articles either so that's great.
@paulg@SenMarkKelly Fucking yes. When I worked for Goldman even in a technical role with basically no inside information about anything anyone who lived in my house was barred from trading without significant reporting barriers on timing and frequency. Why is Congress special?
@goinggodotnet I agree with a lot of this except the valorizing of missing more important events. Most software isn't as critical as those birthdays, vacations, and families.
@pahlkadot Lived in Oakland for 11y. We left after our house got broken into twice and one of our neighbors by the same guy from a nearby camp and Oakland PD refused to do anything about it. Loved that town and the people there but the city has to get their shit together ๐ฅ
@RichDecibels@fortelabs I know there's a lot of resistance to the name but this really is the most empathetic and well balanced take on masculinity and how the sexes can get along https://t.co/L4SsEXDLNQ
@nicolefv On-site Day One: "Maybe RTO wouldn't be that bad. I miss being in an office"
Day Three: "I'm never entering a conference room or talking to humans again."
@IanColdwater ๐ฏ I've found it so useful to get myself started on things I'd procrastinate for weeks on. I've also found myself rubber-ducking to it where by the time I'm done explaining my idea to ChatGPT I actually figured out what I was missing.
@zoecello I didnโt see anyone recommend @SAChakrabooks โs Daevabad trilogy or any of @nkjemisin โs series like The Broken Earth but those are fantastic books I wish existed when I was that age.
@copyconstruct If you put tech salaries on that famous salaries / productivity chart showing the divergence in the 80s they seem pretty reasonable. The problem is everyone else is under paid.
