Found at the campsite where we're staying. It's definitely a first for me. Whatever it is...

Hi there @BritishSpiders, could this be a Steatoda triangulosa??? Found on a beach in Cornwall. Very orange and cream colouration.
(Crossing my fingers it is, then that just leaves me 1 of the genus to find.... albomaculata...)

This is the best photo of a (Araneus diadematus) cross orbweaver spider I have ever taken.
I know there will be critics, but I was really chuffed with the results of this single take.
For me, it's a personal best!
Time we celebrated each win, however small!

#BAS I found this tiny, juvenile Araneus diadematus? garden spider (approx 2mm diameter), so grabbed the macro tubes.

The wind meant she was buffeted like a flag on her web, so I was quite pleased with this single shot.
