Even in it's heyday, I didn't post here much. No one will miss me. I'm leaving because there are viable alternatives (bluesky) and I no longer want any association with Elon Musk. I will never use Starlink, Tesla, a Boring tunnel, or a neuralink. I will no longer use X.
It is inevitable that Musk and Trump will eventually start fighting with one another, becoming enemies. Musk clearly thinks Trump is a stooge and has already been caught demonstrating his contempt.
Here is a headline that we will likely see more of in 2025 and I'm already sick of it. If the policies of the guy you voted for are bad for you, then you really can't complain when you get what you wanted.
A Trump-Voting Farmer's Warning: Mass Deportations Would Be a Disaster

My only real comment about the recent Trump tariff threat is to advise Mexico and Canada that you can't negotiate with a terrorist. Trying to appease Trump is a fool's errand.
These Trump nominations are ridiculous on their face. What's troubling to me is that the conversation is focused on the degree of disqualification. Confirming these nominees invites our enemies, and our allies' enemies, to attack because they know the response will be clownish.
Credit where it was due, the pollsters always said one of them would win and their numbers had margins of error in the 3.5 point range. But man, I am shocked by this result. Which way is up? Which way is down? Does 2+2 still yield the expected sum?
This is what Seattle should do to connect Ballard, Queen Anne and Magnolia to our subway system. This is the easiest way to traverse the ship Canal and the narrow ridge of Queen Anne. https://t.co/NMhdLWsGnQ
It's 10am and I'm travelling East on I-90 in a motor coach on a tour led by @Reubensbrews. A great way to start your weekend: New Zealand style Lager, The New Pale.
