Fable is wild and (scary). I was having it build a mobile app with voice recording and transcription.
To test it - Fable found a way to turn my speakers up, turn the mic on and record a AI voice command to capture the audio… for testing.
And the it proceeds to talk to itself to record as a normal person (voice through speakers) to check and make sure the feature works…
Ok.
@boldceo@bcherny@claudeai I’ve been using medium and having opus 4.8 do the grunt work and fable double checking when done - I’ve got a lot of work out that way
From Claude - The verified, documented layout is a two-pane split (Cmd+click) plus draggable/resizable panes within a session. The 6-up grid in that tweet is almost certainly a promotional composite or a very recent build — I couldn't confirm a "tile all 6 sessions" toggle in the official docs. You can run all 6 sessions at once today; whether you can see all 6 tiled simultaneously (vs. two at a time + sidebar) is the part I can't verify.
@adamlyttleapps I got the app he is building. Love it. Use it daily. Highly recommend anyone get it who wants a better more enjoyable vibe coding experience
@sickdotdev I use both a lot - but the Desktop (on Mac) is slower - but I installed Ponytail and it sped it up a lot! I use the desktop like 80% now
I am an avid co work user so it fits my workflow a lot better
I do this all the time! It's a great tool to use.
One thing I do is actually record a video with a microphone on my MacBook or on my iPhone, explaining what I wanted to do. I have a skill that goes through and takes it frame by frame and then builds an HTML document of all the changes I ask for it. It feeds it back to the model and it makes the changes
