When you can’t play a campy movie in a theater about Americans fighting ISIS terrorists on a university campus, you have to ask yourself what exactly people are afraid of.
The terrorists? The movie? Or the possibility that Americans might remember what it looks like to fight back? Ohh we remember.
Run Hide Fight: Infidels drops next week, censorship be damned.
May we never forget this day, America. I pray for the people who died, the families and friends affected by this horrible tragedy, and for our nation to be united. Extend grace and spread a little more love to someone today❤️
Bill Maher: “A little strip of land that was not part of the original Israel, but which they won in a war launched against them, but then gave back, as a peace gesture. Did they tell you that part on TikTok, kids? And the people who run Gaza, Hamas, who you celebrate as a liberation movement, but are really a terrorist mafia gang… only ever used it to stage attacks on Israel. I think McLemore spoke for all clueless celebrities when he said, ‘I know enough to know this is a genocide.’ Actually, you don't know sh*t. It's not.”
“It's not a genocide. It's a counterattack in a war. A war that's been waged on Israel since 1948, based on the ridiculous premise that Jews don't belong in the one place on Earth they are indigenous, and indisputably their ancestral homeland. Hey, geniuses, they're the Indians in this scenario.”
It’s really kind of stunning how many Third World terrorist sympathizers we’ve imported in the 25 years since 9/11.
And what has it gotten us?
On 9/11 they took down our towers but ever since they’ve been slowly and methodically eating us alive from within.
If Republicans thought this was a good idea and would somehow help the economy in some way, they could have done it at any point in the past two years. They've been in power this whole time. Holding it as a carrot on the stick for after the election is just shameless. Which, again, I could overlook if it was a good plan. But it isn't. You want to help working Americans? Let them keep more of their own money. You don't need to cut checks. Just stop taking the money out of our checks to begin with.
Spending over a trillion dollars to randomly send everyone in the country a check for five grand, including people who are not even net taxpayers -- which makes this, yes, welfare -- is idiotic. Sorry. We did that during covid and it didn't help anything. Only made inflation worse. This is flagrant bribery. Which I could maybe stomach if the plan itself was at least sensible and coherent, but it isn't.
🇺🇸 The Boatlift That Was Bigger Than Dunkirk
At 10:45 a.m. on September 11, 2001, a Coast Guard lieutenant named Mike Day keyed a radio in New York Harbor and said the only sentence that mattered.
“All available boats. This is the United States Coast Guard. Anyone wanting to help with the evacuation of Lower Manhattan, report to Governors Island.”
The boats were already coming.
The bridges were closed. The tunnels were closed. The subways were dead. South of the towers, hundreds of thousands of people had nowhere left to walk. Some jumped into the Hudson. Some stood on seawalls that were never meant to be docks and waited for anything that floated.
Dunkirk took nine days to pull 338,226 Allied soldiers off a beach in 1940.
On 9/11, roughly 800 mariners on about 150 vessels moved as many as 500,000 civilians off Manhattan in about nine hours. Ferries. Tugs. Dinner boats. Pilot boats. Yachts. A retired fireboat. Rubber dinghies that held two people. The largest water evacuation in history.
NY Waterway did not wait for the official call. After the second plane hit, the whole fleet moved. Captain Rick Thornton nosed his ferry against a seawall that was not a slip and started taking people off. Some of them he pulled out of the river. His company alone carried about 158,000 people to Jersey City, Hoboken, Weehawken, Brooklyn, and Queens.
On a normal Tuesday they carried 34,000.
The Staten Island Ferry moved more than 50,000 people and came back the other way with water, bandages, and men who still had work to do in the dust.
The old fireboat John J. Harvey, already retired, tied up near the Museum of Jewish Heritage, took civilians off the seawall, then pumped water when the hydrants downtown died.
Lt. Day later admitted what the day required. “I broke more rules that day than probably I’ve enforced in my whole Coast Guard career.”
In raw numbers it was bigger than Dunkirk. No boat went down. By nightfall the southern tip of Manhattan had been emptied by people who were not on anyone’s list of heroes when the morning started.
They were tug captains. Ferry deckhands. Pilots. A lieutenant with a microphone. Ordinary boats answering one sentence.
All available boats.
There must be a consequence for strangling three children.
Why is this a statement that evokes mass societal discord?
When society cannot agree on a common set of facts and a common sets of morals, I worry grievously for our future.
BREAKING: The Lindsay Clancy jury told the judge they cannot reach a unanimous decision in the high-profile murder case. The judge ordered jurors to continue deliberating and keep reviewing the facts.
Lindsey Clancy's 3 murdered children were defenseless humans deserving full protection of the state. If she murdered 3 adults, would anyone cheer for her outside the courtroom? Would there be any "doubt" about her guilt?
Leftism, abortion, it's all demonic, dehumanizes kids
Behold, the democrats' VP for 2028. She could even be top of the ticket (just turned 36). She'll pose as a charming, reasonable problem-solver on cost of living, healthcare. And if so, she will be formidable. Laugh now...but mark this down.
Hey @WNBA I would like to apply for a women’s franchise for Nashville. I am very inclusive and pro-trans so all my players will be men who identify as women. It would be incredibly exclusionary and transphobic for you to reject my application. Let me know where to send a check.
Everyone is talking about Spain. Meanwhile, in December 2023, the U.S. was averaging around 10,000 illegal border crossings a day. Not in one day, every single day. This wasn't someone else's crisis. It was ours.
We still aren't seeing anywhere close to the level of deportations needed to deal with all the damage of what happened. We must demand the government do more!
I’m not impressed with these hearings where Republicans traipse some corrupt scumbag out and yell at him for three hours. Yeah, he’s a corrupt scumbag. I agree. So why isn’t he under arrest? Why isn’t he facing any real consequences? Why aren’t you actually doing anything?
Wow did you hear what those Republican congressmen said to that bad guy in the hearing? Lol man they really ripped him apart. It was so awesome. What’s that? Oh no the bad guy won’t be arrested or charged with any crime or suffer any consequences of any kind at all. No, there will be no follow up on the hearing, no relevant legislation passed in response to it, no changes of any kind made at all ever. But did you see that viral clip of that one senator? He even used a cuss word! A real cuss word! He’s so tough and brave. I’m so impressed. Aren’t you?
While Berlin was still cleaning blood off the pavement from an Islamic terrorist’s attack at a Pride event, Amsterdam’s parade was already flying more Palestinian and Islamic flags than rainbow ones.
These people will never learn. Pure mental illness.
