The first image of Brisbane’s planned Olympic stadium – the smallest since Amsterdam 1928 – can now be revealed.

The photocopied image of the Queensland Sports and Athletics Centre, obtained by the Brisbane Times through the Right to Information Act, shows a single permanent covered grandstand, with most of the crowd exposed to the elements in uncovered temporary seating.
