Today you will read many sympathetic media stories about B.P.J., the male athlete who challenged WV’s law and lost at SCOTUS.
I’m guessing none will mention that B.P.J. defeated 470+ girls 1,400+ times (including a state title) and sexually harassed our client Adaleia (pictured) in the girls’ locker room. Sadly, Adaleia stopped playing the school sports she loved due to B.P.J.’s ongoing presence in girls’ sports and spaces.
But we’ll probably be lucky if those girls get even a passing mention—let alone a front-page photo.
This has been the pattern on this issue from far too many institutions of power. Boys’ feelings are the focus. Girls’ safety, fairness, and opportunity take a back seat.
I’m so thankful today that the Supreme Court reversed that pattern, acknowledged the reality of biological sex, and remembered the girls.
Have any of the neocons cheering for the war to resume taken the time to explain exactly how we defeat Iran militarily, what that would cost us in terms of blood & treasure, what we gain from doing so, & what Iran looks like with no government?
Please, enlighten us as to how the Bush-era war propaganda will totally work this time.
Wait Graham Platner got a 100% disability rating from the VA? Why isn’t that the biggest scandal of the whole campaign?
In another era a clearly healthy young man running around with the same rating as a paralyzed veteran would be an outrage even if he wasn’t running for Senate
Free speech is under assault in many places these days, but traffic court? Leave it to Illinois, where the state Supreme Court kicked a Cook County judge off the bench over an article he wrote while a private citizen.

Judge Brown was removed from his recall appointment for views he expressed—while retired—that were characterized as right-leaning.
Another judge who writes openly on liberal political topics remains on the bench.
The double standard couldn’t be clearer.

Senator @LindseyGrahamSC is coaching "our greatest ally" how to persuade and lobby a US President to bomb Iran. This is treason. READ BELOW ⬇️
To help make the case on Iran, Graham traveled several times to Israel in recent weeks, meeting with members of the country’s intelligence agency. “They’ll tell me things our own government won’t tell me,” he said.
He spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, coaching him on how to lobby the president for action. Netanyahu showed the president intelligence that persuaded Trump to go ahead, Graham said.

I started @xx_xyathletics almost 2 years ago to champion female athletes & put the focus back on them.
We made this video for International Women's Day to highlight the women being erased when men compete in women's sports.
Look at her.

So if you're a @PhillyPolice officer shooting an actual armed suspect, @DA_LarryKrasner indicts you. But if you're a millionaire ambulance chaser who supports him, you get a pass for shooting an unarmed, retreating perp as a civilian.
Way to go, Larry.

From the Episcopal Diocese of NY: Ali Faqirzada served in Afghanistan working for the US military. He made his way to the US, crossed the border, surrendered to CBP, began legal asylum application, worked as a security guard and then began studying at Bard College in NY.
Since October 14th, 31-year-old Afghan student at Bard College, and beloved member of our diocese, Ali Faqirzada, has been detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
ICE detained Ali just after he appeared for a scheduled interview at the New York Asylum Office, and
had been found to have a viable claim for asylum.
If he is deported and returned to Afghanistan his life will be in danger.
@hamradio2dot0 Jason - I enjoyed your YouTube videos on the FCC fines and 4th Amendment. I am leading a lawsuit against the FCC over the ham licensing regulation requiring warrantless inspections of equipment. I'd love to discuss partnering. Shoot me a DM if you're interested.
This NYT article reads like an attack on the administration for following the law on Chinese drones. The problem is market dominance by a Chinese military-linked monopoly, not Congress and the administration's overdue efforts to mitigate it.
WHY TRUMP WON
While the legacy media has a meltdown searching for hitherto undiagnosed psychoses in the electorate to explain its embrace of a Hitlerian strongman, the truth is much simpler than their fictions.
This election is a reminder that after all the manufactured drama and overheated rhetoric, politics is still about issues. Whether you agreed with him or not, Trump ran a substantive campaign based on issues like the border, inflation, crime, and war.
Harris ran on vibes, celebrity endorsements, name-calling (“convicted felon”, “fascist”), debunked hoaxes (“very fine people”), and platitudes (“democracy”). She would neither defend the Biden-Harris record nor say what she would do differently. When she did talk about specific issues, they were often stolen from Trump (child tax credit; no tax on tips; border funding).
On the one issue where Democrats had an advantage, abortion, Trump deftly got ahead of the issue by rejecting a national ban and removing problematic language from the GOP platform. Harris wore out the issue by blatantly lying about Trump’s position and by exhibiting her own party’s extremism (nobody needed to see an abortion truck at the DNC).
While Trump expanded his coalition with MAHA (health) and DOGE (government efficiency), Harris concluded her ersatz campaign by going all in on demonizing her opponent, pretending Madison Square Garden was a Nazi convention.
The fact that voters saw through it should be reassuring, even if you don’t agree with the result. Voters want to know how a candidate will give them a better life and, increasingly, they have learned to tune out the rest as noise.
While the legacy media creates excuses and impugns the motives of voters to explain why Trump won, the reason is simple: Trump is the candidate who spoke to voters’ concerns directly.
It’s the issues, stupid.
This is what it boils down to.
“Climate action” = government control over your life and authority to size your property.
Your car. 🚘
Your stove. 🍳
Your water heater. ♨️
Beef. 🥩
The goal of “net zero” is to reduce your quality of life, decimate the middle class, and make you a peasant dependent on the government for your electricity, your food and mode of transportation.
It’s not about environmental protection.
It’s not about saving the planet.
It’s about control.
Climate change, which has a scientific basis, just so happens to be the Goldilocks issue whereby people blindly agree to surrendering their individual liberties in exchange for the illusion of a cleaner environment.
