Northside Home Care were on strike outside the Dáil today with their union the IWU.

Some of them have worked for 25 years and are currently on €15.04/hour, and others who are on minimum wagec - about 30% less than others doing the exact same work as them.

The government plans to pass their 'rip-off rent bill' today, called the 'Residential Tenancies Bill'.

The purpose of the bill is to make rents even higher, in order to "attract investment".
