“Show me proof of widespread misandry & men’s issues”
OK. Here we go...
1. There’s an 85-page violence against women/girls strategy but not a *parallel* one for boys/men (19 pages) despite men statically experiencing more (& dying more) from physical violence than women
@PhilMitchell83 And even if it is then misandry is proven because men are often getting ridiculed for being bald, pale, nerdy, fat, stale, short, little d**ks etc 🙂
@Fairyuxfhe Depending on your definition of rape, that could be incorrect. CDC data has consistently shown that most men who say they have been sexually coerced, forced to penetrate or experienced unwanted sexual contact, report only female perpetrators as do many other studies
@HazelTarragon@Kekistan42069@StellitanoKain *they are more likely to disclose & recognise it. Either way; it’s not as if 99% of what’s disclosed shows female victims. 100s of thousands of both males & females experience sexual abuse. Males are a lot less likely to disclose
‘Woman who twisted husband's testicles in no-sex row walks free from court
Swap the genders. Would this be then labelled as misogyny?

@HazelTarragon@Kekistan42069@ONS For context, it d much more accurate to say that females disclose more rush males. This doesn’t mean it’s definitely happening to females significantly more than males. Crime data only tells us part of the story - not all of it.

While allegations of misogyny must be investigated, we must challenge what I call Misogyneering: false, vague, presumptuous &/or unreasonable examples of misogyny which I believe is a cumulative effort to exaggerate the prevalence of misogyny & demonise men…
Receiving abuse about your appearance is not, in itself, definite proof of misogyny simply because you’re a woman—just as receiving abuse about your appearance is not, in itself, definite proof of misandry simply because you’re a man
Misogyneering?

@LisaBritton Spot on
Overcome & deal with the effects of being a victim
Don’t use them to justify holding on to an angry helpless eternal sense of victimhood
It’s not helpful or healthy
@wheeinhere@TheDataHubX Look at the hate & abuse they (& women) get when they do. Erin Pizzey, Earl Silverman, Peter Anderson, Jordan Peterson… the list goes on …
🏴 Scotland is currently considering a Misogyny Bill that will "recognise misogyny as a distinct form of prejudice and abuse." No mention of misandry.
What an utterly hateful & prejudiced headline that would be a lot less likely to be said about any other demographic based on the harm the minority of them do

One day your son will face a moment when you aren’t there. The question is whether you raised him merely to stay out of trouble — or to stop it. https://t.co/Xx6IH33Nm2
