To be fair, sacking a manager because winning a trophy and finishing 17th is “unacceptable”, then proceeding to finish 17th with no trophy, would be the funniest thing this football club has ever done.
@Disgruntle_Goat Yep, you looked just like us before important EL ties last year! Difference is, you got a lot of points in the first half of last season so still on for a great finish. Think you'll blow Forest away on Thurs.
@SamMorshead_ It was a really young side at the end and it showed; no one put their foot on the ball. No fan of Palmer but he had a great game and think that experience should've stayed on.
@LoathedStranger Just always thought there was a chance with one goal in it. As per, subs swung the momentum. Sitting in the home end watching the equaliser go in and not reacting was the ultimate test of self control.
@Disgruntle_Goat@SpursOfficial Agreed, there's a lot of talent which is being wasted by massive gaps (basically midfielders who can pass a ball). Yeah, three/four wins is extremely achievable but the longer the run goes the harder it gets mentally, and all of this is in the players' heads.
@Disgruntle_Goat@SpursOfficial Ha! There are half a dozen forces sucking us down - mostly ineptitude at the club but one of them is every other team really wanting it 😄. Which is fair... No way we're too good, have been the worst team in the league since about October.
@LoathedStranger Blew an injury-ravaged side apart with a v clear gameplan. Some lovely triangles played out from the back. Glatzel clear MOTM, but liked the look of Kilkenny dictating and all.
Enjoyable that👌
