Congratulations to Cori Sullivan (@cori_sullivan19) for signing her first professional contract in the United States! She joins @uslsuperleague side Lexington Sporting Club (@lexingtonsportingclub) on a one-year contract with an option for a second year. Cori is a dynamic attacking player - excellent 1v1! - from Prescott, Arizona. She began her career at Arizona State University, where she played for four seasons, solidifying herself as a starter and scoring in multiple games in the NCAA Tournament in her final season, in addition to a golden, game-winning goal versus UCLA. She finished her college career with one season at the University of Washington.

In 2023, Cori joined her first professional club, Cruz Azul of Liga MX Femenil. She recently finished her second season as a pro with Glasgow City in Scotland. Since arriving in Glasgow, Cori has played in a title-chasing side, notching multiple caps in the UEFA Women’s Champions League while scoring 8 goals and contributing 4 assists. She has twice been named in the Team of the Week and has received two Player of the Match awards. She finished this season as the top scorer in the SWPL Sky Cup. Cori has also featured as one of the primary set-piece takers for her team.

Cori has a bachelor degree in biological sciences. She loves trying new things, working on improving her Spanish and training younger kids. She is also really into learning about health and nutrition. Fun fact: Cori had pet llamas growing up!

Congrats, Cori!
