@thatstanhanks@realsigridjin I guess it’s been 30 years since IPng so we have a new generation of inexperienced folks ready to provide the simple solution to the problem that everyone before them failed to understand. Frankly, LISP was a better approach than this.
@sysadafterdark This is so wrong in so many ways that I can’t count. A lot of ideas that have been proven not to work. If you want IPv4 inside IPv4, LISP is a better choice. @lispersnet
@thatstanhanks@franklinveaux For the record, Gemini gave a really good answer when I asked it "What is the SC87253P chip in a NABU network adapter from the 1980s" SC=Signetics, and it looks like it may have been a custom unit with support functions and masked-in firmware.
