Just finished a call with the Prime Minister to discuss the tariff escalation.
My message: release the text of the rejected agreement, recall Parliament, and adopt an emergency Economic Action Plan to save jobs and lower costs for our people.
The plan should scrap gas taxes until Canada Day, have zero capital gains tax on reinvesting in Canada, end the industrial carbon tax, green -light the 500 projects waiting for federal permits, and have ZERO sales tax on Canadian-made cars.
As the U.S. hikes tariffs, we must lower taxes for Canadians.
Let’s all fight for our workers, our businesses, and our country.
Conservatives are disappointed that the United States has chosen to impose further unjustified tariffs on Canada. They threaten the jobs and livelihoods of families right across our country.
Canadians must stand united to defend our country against these unfair attacks on our jobs and businesses. Canada cannot accept one-sided tariffs that will deindustrialize our country. Nor can we accept a bad deal. Instead, we must continue the fight for tariff-free trade. Later today, I will seek a call with the Prime Minister to discuss what we can do to fight for our workers, businesses, and economy. Conservatives will always put our country first.
Conservatives support action to protect Canadians and our industries targeted by these unfair U.S. tariffs.
We also need urgent economic reforms to restore growth, protect jobs and save our industry. That must include ending the industrial carbon tax, repealing anti-development laws, green lighting the 500 economic projects awaiting federal approval and major tax reforms to return investment to our country, reward work, and recharge our economy.
All Canadians must stand united for our workers, our businesses and our country.
I and long-term clients own many companies that have been held for at least 10 years - and a few much longer. If you own stocks for the long term you must be prepared for temporary narratives, painful macro events, and always, extreme price drops. What has never wavered was the improving fundamentals and intelligent capital allocation that gave us the confidence to hold.
Gentlemen and Ladies prefer dividends that grow. $BAM "The company expects to grow its payout at a rate of more than 15% annually for the foreseeable future"
BREAKING: I’ve written to the Ethics Committee Chair calling for an urgent investigation into Carney’s condo bailout.
Who lobbied to force people who can’t afford groceries to bail out billionaire Liberal donors and powerbrokers?
We are fighting to stop the Liberal Club from getting richer by making you poorer.
The BC condo developer bailout, thanks to Carney, has finally rightfully angered taxpayers who cannot afford to buy these overpriced units but their tax dollars are being used so others can. This will be the moment in time when the downfall of Carney began in earnest.
Mark Carney is bailing out developers and banks for their bad bets instead of letting condo prices fall to an affordable level.
Canadians didn't buy these condos, and they aren't buying Mark Carney's excuses for wasting your money bailing out his friends.
Stop the Carney Condo Bailout: https://t.co/rXBFM960Hm
What would you suggest we do with empty condos that no one can afford to buy, asks Liberal MP.
Here is an idea: let the prices drop until people can afford them. Welcome to the real world!
NO TO THE CARNEY CONDO BAILOUT
The Carney Condo Bailout Fucktastrophe! I Won't Leave This One Alone: It's Just Too WRONG
To quote the Prime Minister: "Builders dont want to sell at a loss"
Doesn't mean the Canadian Taxpayer needs to make sure Developers get full price for their Garbage Units at crazy prices
Poilievre calls on the feds to cancel the condo bailout, and urges developers to “lower the sale price” so units are actually affordable:
“This is another example of a tiny club of Liberal elites, billionaires, and insiders getting rich by making hardworking Canadians poor.”
That’s the govt default when they ruin a nation’s competitiveness, as Liberals have done in Cda. Of course it never lasts long before total disaster takes over. Carney is even more of a fiasco that I thought he’d be. With all those credentials, even we doubters expected better.
Carneys $2.5B condo bailout should enrage everyone.
Tax payers footing the bill into developers pockets who made more money than god for many years. Now their risk fails and tax payers foot the bill.
Shame on you @MarkJCarney
Mark Carney's Parliamentary Budget Officer reported that 74,000 bogus asylum claimants are getting better healthcare benefits than the Canadian taxpayers who pay for it.
27,000 are wanted for deportation and STILL receiving the benefits.

Assuming $75 oil in 2027, $CNQ should hit its debt target, meaning 100% of free cash flow will be returned via dividends and buybacks. Plus the stock offers an 11% free cash flow yield at $75 oil.
The number of young Canadians forced to live with their parents is out of control.
More than a decade of Liberals has made it massively worse.
Let’s cut red tape and building taxes across Canada, so our young people can afford to live in a home of their own: https://t.co/VfhBzrSxBl
