@beastieboy07 To be that talented at 15 is amazing, but T20 conditions are so much in favour of the batter that it is hard to judge his real talent until he plays test cricket.
Absolutely spot on. Of the three only Marnus has any sort of test match credentials. While this was an ODI, none of them faced enough balls to demand a spot in either squad. Talk of Green opening v Bangladesh is ludicrous.
@amenners no surprise Inglis, Green & Marnus all out to spin, three of them have no idea how to play spin. At what point do you say enough is enough with Green repeated failures?
@LachlanSherriff Let’s be clear-he did not reach out to Australia after Italy was knocked out. Australia has most definitely contacted him, and started a conversation. In no world is he doing this off his own back. On that basis, he should be welcomed into the fold.
@Haydenfreedom Make no mistake, he didn’t come up with this idea by himself. As soon as Italy were knocked out, the Aust. Hierarchy would’ve been in his ear trying to convince him to play for Australia. There is no way he contacted them cap in hand.
@PeterJCrows I’m optimistic as well BUT they simply must adapt the game plan, as most other sides have this year so far. Also need to win these close ones-a bad habit that is entrenched. Lastly, look at the assistants & change now-Burns and Godden out, VB on last legs.
