This winter, households with electricity and gas on prepayment meters who can't afford to top them up will pay on average £6.14 a week to sit in the cold and dark. That is what today's @ofgem price cap rises in standing charges mean.
Is there anything more funny as a Bitcoiner or sad as a shitcoiner than the Ethereum Foundation immediately dumping a couple of million of ETH as soon as there's some spark of hope?

PROPAGANDA - Sky News claims 263 people “likely died” in the heatwave.
There are no confirmed deaths, it’s just a statistical computer model, guessing how many people might have died if the weather had been cooler. They say 2/3 are blamed on “climate change” based on a fantasy version of Earth without man made emissions huh?
There are no death certificates, no autopsies, and no confirmed deaths.
Excess deaths can easily be modelled to show NHS delays & poor social care. The same modelling used during COVID to panic you into behaving.
it’s climate propaganda presented as science, so you’ll pay for it!
Is the reason we can't afford to pay doctors and nurses the same wages they earned in 2008 in real terms
Because £23 billion in contracts goes to private firms providing services to the NHS, generating for them over £3 billion in profit every year?
And profits for private firms is more important than paying NHS staff fairly?
Britain's broken energy system. Companies built windfarms where there's no grid and you pay them to not generate
Soaring costs, locked in for years to come, & more on the way
It's not good enough to sigh- something must change
It's brutal for families and crippling for growth
TAX - The Cabinet Office employs 6,500 people!
Since July last year, Labour has handed out 580 consultancy contracts …worth £1.29 billion.
It’s a complete piss take. Either the civil service can do their jobs, or they can’t. If they can, this is a grotesque waste. If they can’t, why are we paying them at all?
After 10-12 years, methane from cows is broken down into CO2, entering a carbon cycle absorbed by plants and grass through photosynthesis, converted into cellulose and eaten by cows and the whole cycle repeats. Cows ARE environmental sustainability.🐄
Over 1 yr ago I said Net Stupid Zero costing £30 bn pa to taxpayer
Govt said pompously “we don’t recognise that figure”
Now OBR below confirming Tice is right.
Literally bang on the money
Only @reformparty_uk will scrap Net Zero and save £30bn pa
All the dairy cows in the UK will emit less CO2 this year (already existing in the carbon cycle) than the World Cup will of newly added carbon - and that’s before consideration of cows grazing on grass that contribute to carbon sequestration in soil.

One of Sir Keir's favourite lines is that Liz Truss "crashed the economy" -- a reference to the interest rate on 30-year gilts peaking at 5% after Truss's mini-budget.
Today, the interest rate on 30-year gilts climbed to 5.453%.
Gilt rates are higher than they were in October 2022.
Yet there is no media outcry or negative commentary from the @bankofengland.
Britain's institutions are complicit in this huge economic failure.
The Labour government’s Planning and Infrastructure Bill:
This includes compulsory purchase by public bodies & governments (local & national) to buy land (which includes the green belt, farmland or even allotments) at low agricultural value rather than full hope value. After purchase they can sell land to a housing developer or solar panel company at full development value. The Bill also gives compulsory purchase rights to acquire land for nature.
This is not a level playing field for farmers. They will be forced to sell at low value, but the purchaser (often a local council) will be able to sell at full value. This is fundamentally wrong on many levels. It’s countryside grabbing facilitated by government for corporate gain.
NHS Plan for GPs will push more into Private care
This will be very costly given the current BUPA costs £59 for a remote 15min appt & £79 for face to face.
Currently NHS GPs are funded £165 for unlimited consults per person per year, with the average person having 7 consults
The government is still making devastating cuts to Universal Credit (UC)✂️
UC is a lifeline for disabled people who face huge extra costs but aren't able to work.
📢 The government must withdraw the bill. And co-produce all disability benefit reforms with disabled people.
Did you spot it?
This government wants to use a PUBLIC PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP for Neighbourhood Health Centres in its 10 year NHS plan
*Even though Private Finance Initiatives mean the NHS paying up to 27 x over for hospitals*
Take 1 minute to say no https://t.co/YgsJUq44eH
The Chancellor claims that the Truss spike in long term interest rates crashed the economy. The 10 and 30 year rates have been well above that one day only peak all this year. This is a far worse crash. Reeves has borrowed more and driven rates higher.
Here's the @Telegraph forced to correct their LIES on PIP and Motability.
To celebrate, I'm off to do donuts in my Motability Maclaren Formula One car.
#TakingThePIP
This is LCWRA.
It's part of Universal Credit.
Labour is about to HALVE IT for disabled people out of pure cruelty.
Labour thinks that taking away money from disabled people will 'cure' their disability. It won't.
Labour thinks that disabled people should do jobs that non-disabled people consider beneath them.
Labour thinks that disabled people are putting it on.
Labour thinks that disabled people are less than.
