🚨BlueChips Hoops Summit Highlight🚨
Quinten Wilson (@quintenwilson1_)from Parkersburg got HOT from beyond the arc in Bridgeport ! The 6’3 G is one of the best passers in the state , but when he gets aggressive he’s one of the most unstoppable players in West Virginia ! He can score from anywhere on the floor , rise above the rim , and has one of the highest basketball IQs you’ll find . I’ve watched Quinten a couple of times this summer and every time I have he’s been one of my favorites in the gym ! Make sure you keep your eye on the #10 player in WV this year as Wilson aims for another all state selection !

"#5 @quintenwilson1_ battled all game long and stuffed the stat sheet with 16 points, 4 rebounds, 3 steals, and a block while bringing toughness on both ends of the floor."
My second highlighted game of Day 2 at the Rock the Rock with @PaulBiancardi, powered by @BigShotsGlobal, turned into a grind-out battle between @SWVHustle2025 17U and Triangle Offense. This one wasn’t built on flashy runs or easy buckets. This was toughness and a war fought possession by possession. Every bucket had to be earned the hard way. Every rebound felt like a collision. Every defensive stop carried weight. Both squads stepped on the floor with something to prove, and neither side was backing down an inch.
Early on, defense ruled the game. Passing lanes disappeared, driving lanes got slammed shut, and clean looks were rare to come by. Bodies were flying, hands were active, and both teams made life miserable for each other offensively. Triangle Offense managed to scrape together a razor-thin 27-25 lead at the break, but this thing still felt completely up for grabs.
The second half only got nastier.
The intensity kept climbing possession after possession as both teams traded blows in a game that stayed tight nearly the entire way. The Hustle kept fighting and clawing right back every time Triangle looked ready to create separation, but down the stretch, Triangle finally found just enough breathing room with timely buckets, strong execution, and key defensive stops to slowly pry the door open and take the hard-fought 53-46 win.
Triangle Offense was led by #4 @William5Gause, who brought a relentless scoring attack all game long finishing with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Every time the game tightened up, he found a way to answer with a big play. Teammate #11 Kurt Curry added 13 points and 3 rebounds, stepping up with major buckets in key moments, while #1 @tresean1 chipped in 8 points and continued to apply pressure offensively.
The Hustle never stopped swinging, though. #5 @quintenwilson1_ battled all game long and stuffed the stat sheet with 16 points, 4 rebounds, 3 steals, and a block while bringing toughness on both ends of the floor. Teammate #3 @AshbyChadwick added 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 blocks, protecting the paint and making life difficult around the rim every single possession.
This wasn’t pretty basketball. This was survival basketball with toughness, heart, and competitive fire. And by the final buzzer, both teams had left everything they had on that floor.
My final game wrap-up of Day 2 at the Rock the Rock with @PaulBiancardi powered by @BigShotsGlobal turned into a straight, gritty street fight between @SWVHustle2025 17U and Team United 17U. Both squads walked in hungry after tough losses earlier in the day, and both were desperate to get things back rolling before the event ended. From the opening tip, you could tell neither side planned on backing down. Bodies flying, tough finishes, physical rebounds, and players hitting the floor. This one had edge to it from start to finish.
These teams were almost mirror images of each other. Tough guards, size inside, skilled scorers, physical post play, and both squads brought that chip-on-the-shoulder mentality every possession. Nobody was looking for pretty basketball. This was tough basketball.
The Hustle came out attacking early with confidence and energy, while Team United kept answering every run. Every bucket felt important, knowing every stop mattered. Hustle managed to carry a slim 32-28 lead into the half, but the game still felt completely up for grabs with the intensity rising possession after possession.
The second half turned into a straight-up shootout at the OK Corral between Team United’s #10 @BrendanMurph00 and the Hustle’s #12 @jordanisaac08. One side hit a bucket, and the other came right back with one tougher. Deep shots, strong takes through contact, middy pull-ups, and transition finishes. It became a full-blown “you score, I score” battle that had everybody locked in.
Murphy completely erupted, though. Every time Team United needed something big, he delivered it. Big-time jumpers and deep triples that shifted momentum. He played fearless and aggressive while attacking the defense from everywhere on the floor. And when the pressure got thick late, he never blinked. Murphy finished with a game-high 30 points while adding 6 rebounds and a steal in the hard-fought 62-55 win.
Teammate #24 @OllieCarp12 stepped up huge alongside him with 13 points, 5 rebounds, and a steal while making timely buckets and gritty effort on both ends of the floor.
The Hustle kept swinging right until the final horn.
@jordanisaac08 was electric, putting in 18 points with shot-making that kept the Hustle right there possession after possession. #5 @quintenwilson1_ added the stat sheet stuffer with 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists while doing a little bit of everything for his squad. @AshbyChadwick brought toughness around the rim all game long, finishing with 10 points, 5 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 2 assists while making life difficult defensively every trip down the floor.
Late in the game, Team United simply made a couple more winning plays. And in a battle this physical and intense, that ended up being the difference. Murphy finished the weekend averaging 22+ points per game.
