Okay well replay the events that transpired that day, but instead of Karmelo being black and Metcalf being white they are actually in an alternate dimension where everyone is the exact same mix of Spanish/Anglo/Sub-Saharan African and Jewish. Can you still justify a 17 year old being stabbed in the heart for telling another 17 year old to leave the private space set up for him and his friends? Even with an unprovoked push to the shoulder, even if he punched him in the jaw I still don’t think the 17 year old should have been stabbed in the heart in “self defence”.

Just picture in your head: you are at a high school track meet, 17 years old and hanging out with friends. A person of no discernible race or complexion is invading the space you are sharing with your friends, this space was created just for you and your friends to enjoy with some privacy. You kindly ask them to leave this space but they refuse. You continue to ask this person of no discernible race or complexion to leave, more than 15 times. The man says to touch him and see what happens. At this point you become frustrated and push this man on the shoulder. Do you think that escalation then justifies yourself being stabbed in the heart? Remember that you are 17.

This is a thought experiment, if you look at it as if you were the victim and skin colour was nonexistent do you still come to the same conclusion? Is karmelo still a good lil dindu if it was a fellow black he stabbed? What about if we switch it up and Karmelo was a cracker and Metcalf was black?
