@juddrosenblatt Tools already exist to monitor and control/prevent all this. All that is really being shown is that they are content to run without relevant security tools because any incidents will just be spun as marketing events.

If the user is a known AI safety researcher, Claude becomes less confident, reasons more often, and expresses less suspicion on dual-use requests.

Slowing down to enhance security = we did what every gen of innovators before us did and built w/ minimal controls and ignored basic security principles. Now we have to fix the tech debt but will spin it as our product is just super advanced instead of we were dumb.
