“We are not going to tell ourselves lies when things are not getting done at the level they need to be done. We will continue to turn rocks.” - Dolphins GM Jon-Eric Sullivan
@Schultz_Report@OmarKelly Everyone’s up in arms that he was waived but 30 other teams didn’t see enough value to add him as more than a practice squad guy. Shows how little talent we’ve had on defense.
“We are going to be a draft and develop team,” Dolphins GM Jon Eric Sullivan. “We will always be a young team. We will be very selective of who we bring in in free agency and we’ll pay our core player. We just did that.”

Dolphins claimed seven players on waivers: QB Brady Cook from the Jets, DB Marcellas Dial from the Patriots, T Chukwuebuka Godrick from the Chiefs, TE Justin Jolly from the Broncos, T Jarrett Kingston from the Texans, DB Taylor Reese from the Broncos and DB Julius Wood from the Cowboys.
This move earns a lot of respect for me for this new administration. There wasn’t a backup QB on this roster who performed well enough to be the QB2 this offseason, and instead of just sticking with the best one, they cleaned house. “If it’s not good enough you won’t be here” is a great precedent to set.
