Coming from a poor background doesn’t mean you have to freeze your own life so everyone else can live.
You can retire your parents and still catch flights.
You can build for them and still build for yourself.
You can send your siblings to good schools, provide monthly support, and handle your responsibilities properly…
And still buy your dream car.
Still collect watches.
Still enjoy your life.
Taking care of your family and living well are not enemies. Only broke thinking makes it look that way.
That’s the kind of freedom trading can give you when you actually become good at it.
And if you’re not there yet, that’s fine. Just don’t project your current level and call it “impossible.” It’s not impossible, it just requires capacity❤️
If you’re tired of watching others win,
stop watching.
Start studying hard, Mark charts. Build skill.
2026 will not tolerate last year’s version of you:
a scared little keyboard warrior who wasted 365 days circle, jerking his own excuses online instead of building anything worth a damn.
Talk is the currency of the broke.
Pay the real price or stay exactly where cowards belong: stuck, loud, and irrelevant.
YOU BECOME WHO YOU LEARN FROM
Before the year ends, find out what is stopping you from becoming profitable, write it down, and find a mentor who has already achieved what you want to achieve.
In 2024, I was supposed to travel out of the country (I had already started my application process), but I always wanted to master trading before leaving. I wanted to be good so that when I travel for my studies, I won’t struggle too much. I also wanted to experience university differently this time. I wanted to have a fun uni life, build connections, travel to different cities, and live well.
I didn’t want to go there, live a boring life, and still be struggling to learn trading. I knew learning how to trade would help me achieve most of the things I wanted. So in 2024, I had to choose between relocating and locking in with trading for a year.
I chose trading (obviously hehe). I gave myself one year to become better and truly understand how to trade. To achieve that, I wrote my plans down and looked for someone who had already achieved what I wanted.
My two main focuses were building a very strong study habit and achieving mad results. I knew the only way to get mad results was by studying alot, but I was struggling to study intentionally and consistently.
I used to study before, but it was not intentional and I wasn’t consistent because I didn’t have the habit of studying. I was just forcing myself.
Before 2024 ended, I tried to find a mentor that I would stick with all through the year to achieve what I wanted, and the only person that came to my mind was @thissdax . Even when I asked my close friends, they said Dax has what I am looking for. He has a crazy study habit and that’s why he is very good at what he does.
Now in 2025, I have built the habit of studying intentionally and consistently, no matter my results or challenges. I study and the results are starting to show gradually.
I can’t stay for long without studying. I start to feel useless. I have told myself many times, “One last time. After this study session, I won’t study again. I know enough now, all I have to do is stick to my plan.” But I always find myself going back to study. It has become a habit and I love it.
Studying is the only way to understand what you’re doing on the chart. So again, find a mentor who has the habits you want to carry over into 2026 and stick with them.
Anyway, I will be participating in the December study challenge with @thissdax
2026 is for staying disciplined and printing back to back🔥
we’re studying hard and trading less in December
