Our latest typedesign project "Mind the Caps" 🇬🇧 is OUT NOW and comes with a 100% FREE Demo! 🙌 After missing #London so much in these disconnected times Philip decided to create a new typeface and pay tribute to the famous "Mind the Gap" Sign, but this time it's all about CAPS.
I can’t believe this is really happening. AuraTap is finally launching!
This has been eight months of hard work, testing, and a deep commitment to creativity, pixel-perfect detail, and the community, all to deliver something really special. I’m so grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way.
Vision Pro is far from dead. The community is more alive than ever, and we’re just getting started. Join us this Friday at 1 PM PDT for an online launch event inside the app, your chance to meet us and some amazing people.
Open Mac apps on your iPhone with my new app choclift 🍫
After extending my Mac screen with Vision Pro, I wanted even more connectivity between devices so I explored the advantage of having a separate user interface just for app management.
It seems simple but it actually allows for a lot of new workflows and use-cases as you might think.
Everyone works differently so we’re building this app as a platform that will support many different workflows, beyond just opening apps. Stay tuned as I’ll be sharing more in the coming weeks.
The best way to explore new Apple products before they appear in stores will always be on Vision Pro.
And you can do it from anywhere, though I admit doing it in an Apple Store is a bit beside the point.
Can’t wait to see the new M5 MacBook Pro in action!
When I design for visionOS, I always use Mac Virtual Display on Vision Pro. It helps me think from within the product.
Now imagine if the Mac could stream its output directly into Vision Pro, allowing you to preview anything you’re working on in real time – 3D models, immersive video, or, in my case, Figma Prototypes.
That would certainly make the Mac and Vision Pro the most powerful combination in computing.
Seeing content made with Apple Vision Pro vs. actually wearing the device is kind of like reading the script vs. watching the movie.
Sure, a script gives you the idea of what it’s about, but it will never immerse you in the story the way the movie does. It simply can’t.
I always try my best to share what I experienced, but no matter how hard I try, the fact remains that screen recordings just don’t do the device justice and that I can’t show you “the Movie”.
If you haven’t yet and want to form an unbiased opinion, go to an Apple Store and book a free demo.
I keep finding new ways to integrate Apple Vision Pro into my creative work.
For example, in my work as a type designer, I’ve found it extremely helpful to test my latest fonts in different sizes on real-world products, enabling true-to-life mockups.
This is far more efficient and eco-friendly than printing endless versions on paper like I usually do.
Spatial computing is a tool, and it’s always up to us to find ways it can make each of our unique workflows more productive.
Everyone should be able to quickly build a strong network within the Vision Pro community. That’s why we’re committed to building a completely new kind of networking app for Apple Vision Pro.
What turned out to be a very challenging project is now close to the finish line, and we’re incredibly excited for you to finally get your hands on it.
Personas are the safest and most comfortable way to video communicate – and the most magical innovation of Vision Pro.
If you’re like us and can’t wait to be part of the beginning of something truly special, send me a DM and I’ll invite you to our TestFlight. We’ll be hosting testing sessions regularly, giving you the chance to meet new people and try out Personas.
