@DrasmaJabeen1 Mine is SAS, but this is because I've used it since 1985. I know that it would be cumbersome to learn another system. Excel shouldn't really be on the list, it is not a statistical package. For some tasks I would use R.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 The entropy of the nail subsystem decrease but the entropy of the larger system increases. Generally, we use energy to increase the entropi locally. The nails contain potential energy that will be released when they are shaken and fall into place and they end up with less energy.
