Big-name players have become available who would make sense for the Phillies to trade for.
But at what price? Especially for the limited assets. Do any make it worth moving off of quality prospects?
With any big trade, top prospects are a must in a package to get a deal done.
"It is not an organization that is chock-full of prospects. That's why you also might have to trade from your major league roster."
How should the Phillies approach when it comes to potentially moving their top prospects this trade deadline?
The Phillies continue to have poor outings against the best of the best starting pitchers, a fearful sign come October.
"You just need multiple reinforcements in the lineup."
Will the trade deadline fix this issue, or is it on the stars of the Phillies to get things straight?

Great stuff from Andrew Painter today
His line:
6 IP | 5 H | 1 ER | 0 BB | 6 K 90 pitches (61 strikes) 11 whiffs
This is simply the best his fastball has looked since being sent down. Velo was up combined with better shape, and he held it throughout the outing.
