Over the years, “@RwandaHealth & @Uni_Rwanda with @WHORwanda support developed a medical coding curriculum & trained health workers, field tested #ICD-11 through EMR & helped embed ICD-11 in eBuzima platform” said @WHORwanda Rep @BrianChirombo at the #WHOFIC plenary in Kigali.
Grateful to @WHO and all partners who made this milestone possible. The designation of @Uni_Rwanda as a WHO Collaborating Center marks a key step toward stronger health systems in Africa. Together, we’re building a future driven by innovation and collaboration! @RwandaHealth

Lessons for the times we are in:
“We want to be Rwandans [not those other ones, the small ones without shame]. The journey we are on is to be ourselves, to live well with others, and do what we have together to do get ahead. “
“It’s hard to be yourself. The same way fighting for this country cost lives. People sacrificed so that Rwanda can be what it is. The path is hard. Funga mkanda. Lazima tupiganie haki yetu. Tuna haki ya kupigania.”
#KwegeraAbaturage
Being Rwandan means embracing who we are, standing with dignity, and striving together for progress.
The journey isn’t easy our history reminds us of the sacrifices made. But we push forward, united, resilient, and determined.🇷🇼
