Excited to tell you that some abstracts have been submitted and published for a clinical trial the Paeds Team have been involved in. This has been using a trial feed containing real food ingredients and comprising of 1.5kcal/ml. Not yet ACBS approved but watch this space!
Superficially this appears to be a Good Idea. 'We took caffeine out of drinks for those in care homes and residents fell over less frequently when going to the toilet'.
Delve deeper and you get superficial observations masquerading as 'evidence'. Correlation ≠ causation.
