But I do have to admit that your first try at the word was very impressive not even my canadian cousins that grew up with a swiss mom were able to pronounce it as well as you did

The reason is that the 'ch' sound in swissgerman is very difficult to pronounce correctly for someone that did't grew up using it and 'chochichästli' has three 'ch' in it so it's mostly impossible for foreigners to pronounce it corectly which makes it very funny for us
