Being mindful of the kind of behaviours you unconsciously allow from others is treating them what you will allow.
A key term to be aware of around this topic is 'Positive reinforcement' which we give to others, whether consciously or not.
Helping people who are consistently selfish reinforces the wrong behavior.
When you give to takers, you reward them for using you—and encourage them to take advantage of others too.
Your time and energy is better spent with people who make the effort to pay it back or forward.
There is certainly a lot for me to process regarding the trending #CancelCulture#JoeRogan#canceljoerogan topic.
I do however feel the need to broach this as a professional and will consider a well thought out response that I hope will convey my consideration on the matter.
An easy way to pick the wrong career is to put your image above your interests and identity.
A motivating job isn't the one that makes you look important. It's the one that makes you feel alive.
