Border Teacher: "Help Us End This War"
SIEM REAP--A teacher in Banteay Meanchey province has called on the international community to end what she described as renewed Thai military aggression against Cambodia, demanding justice for her country.
"We have witnessed painful separation. Mothers are separated from their children, and children are separated from their fathers," she said.
"I have seen these scenes at displacement centers, and they are heartbreaking."
The teacher, who asked not to be named for security reasons, said she wants the world to witness the injustice and ensure justice is served for Cambodia.
"I ask the international community to help Cambodia and to do whatever is necessary to end the war. We all know that Cambodia has no intention of invading anyone, not even in the slightest," she said.

Return For Good: Cambodian Workers Find a Way Home
BATTAMBANG—At the Daung-Ban Lem border checkpoint on August 17, Cambodian workers, many with children and heavy bundles, continued to return home from Thailand, aware that they may not go back to their lives across the border.
Faces reveal years of struggle, sunburnt from construction, tired hands from factory lines, and farm fields. Some carry plastic bags, while others carry memories of hardship and sacrifice.
Despite these, one thing remains unwavering—the spirit of Cambodians, who always manage to find their way back home, no matter how far they journey.
Around 65 percent of Cambodian workers, who are employed in Thailand, have returned home, with at least 780,000 of them.
