Tohle vybavení daroval chirurg dr. Pavel Jaremenko. Jeho rodina před 100 lety uprchla z Ukrajiny před bolševiky. Tři generace udržovala ukrajinskou identitu 🇺🇦.
Tohle vybavení používal Pavlův táta, rovněž chirurg, a když před časem zemřel, daroval ho Pavel Team 4 Ukraine , aby pomohlo i v jeho staré vlasti.
Před časem jsme vybavení dovezli do pobočky vojenské nemocnice v Kremenčuku, kde zdárně dál slouží a pomáhá… ❤️✌️
Lékaři Vás všechny zdraví a posílají poděkování. Těší nás, že věci, které již posloužily, pomáhají dalším pacientům v zemi, kde i nemocniční zařízení jsou terčem útoků okupantů. 💪
Děkujeme všem, kteří naši činnost podporují! 💙💛
🇺🇦 Ukrainian Hero Roman Bubenko would have turned 47 today. This is a tribute to the chief sergeant who gave his life to save a fellow soldier.
Roman Bubenko, known by the call sign “Kuma,” served as a chief sergeant and took part in the defense of Chernihiv. He participated in numerous successful combat missions.
In June 2023, in Donetsk Oblast, his crew broke through fortified enemy positions, damaged one tank, destroyed another tank, an infantry fighting vehicle, and approximately 20 enemy soldiers.
The following month, in the same sector, he suppressed enemy machine-gun and anti-tank positions, destroyed an observation post, and helped force the enemy to retreat.
During that mission, Roman was wounded but refused to leave the battlefield and continued commanding his crew.
After evacuation, he was taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
He was posthumously awarded the title Hero of Ukraine along with the Order of the Golden Star.
His comrade Oleksandr, who served as a gunner, recalled that he and Roman often carried out missions together because they navigated the terrain better than most others.
During one operation, their vehicle was struck and caught fire.
Oleksandr managed to get out but could not walk. Roman helped him escape, removed his burning helmet, ordered him to run, and stayed behind. While doing so, he inhaled flames and suffered severe burns himself.
Both men were evacuated. Their injuries were initially assessed as moderate, and Oleksandr hoped they would undergo rehabilitation together.
Instead, Roman died in the hospital.
Oleksandr later said that Roman was the best person he had ever worked with. They understood each other easily, and Roman possessed exceptional technical knowledge. In his spare time, he worked alongside his comrades maintaining and repairing their vehicle.
Roman spent his entire military career in armored units, serving as a driver, gunner, and eventually commander.
On one occasion, when Ukrainian forces were partially encircled, it was Bubenko who covered the withdrawal and rescued Oleksandr’s crew from a disabled tank.
When his fire-control system failed during another engagement, he continued firing at an enemy helicopter using only visual estimation.
He also possessed remarkable battlefield instincts. On one occasion, he ordered his crew to leave a position immediately—moments before an enemy strike hit the area.
Although health issues gave him the option to leave military service, he chose to remain with his unit.
A true hero.
Eternal memory and honor to Roman Bubenko and to all those who fought beside him.
🕯🥀 Ukrainian volunteer Tina Pir, who evacuated hundreds of civilians, has died
Kharkiv volunteer Tina Pir has passed away after dedicating more than four years of her life to evacuating civilians and supporting the Defense Forces.
The cause of death was a severe oncological illness. Despite fundraising efforts for treatment, doctors were unable to save her.
Over the years of her volunteer work, she evacuated hundreds of civilians, delivered tons of humanitarian aid, helped internally displaced families and animals, and provided supplies to soldiers on the front line.
Colleagues and international partners, including representatives of the Sunflower F.U.N.D. foundation, remember Tina as a person of extraordinary courage and dedication.
💬 “It was a great honor to know Tina. She was not angry at death for taking her life — she was angry because her work in this world was not yet finished,” volunteer Marketa Vorel said.
Tina is survived by her parents and her child.
