9:59am September 11th the South Tower falls 2001/2021

Both images shot on 9/11... 20yrs apart

On Park Row & Beekman New Yorkers have packed the streets & look on in horror. Seconds later everyone would run, leaving the street as empty as it was in 2021

September 11th American Airlines Flight 11

2001 / 2024

Upon impact the tire explodes through Tower 1 & lands more than 5 football fields away (1600ft) at the corner of Rector & West St.

Dazed New Yorkers wander past, blocks from Ground Zero as the morning starts to unfold...

We need your help.

This photo — #20 from "32 Frames" — shows 7 people evacuating from the World Trade Center shortly before the North Tower collapsed on 9/11.

We have not been able to ID any of them — or determine whether or not they survived.

@picstoral When plane two hit, a fuselage section went through and landed on WTC 5's roof to the north.

Landing gear and one of the engines rocketed out and landed 5-6 blocks north as well

The landing gear hit a woman, crushing the lower half of her body, though she survived.

Happy 84th bday to my dad seen here in 1967 with an arm around his Air Force buddy

This will be the first September 18th he's not on the planet in 84yrs

On the left his son, time traveling to 1967... about 20yrs older than him

Yes, scaffolding was still up nearly 25yrs later 🤦‍♂️

Google images show it was there, on & off from at least 2014.

NYC scaffolding is it's own insideous problem... it's cheaper to rent these eyesores than to fix building facades/incur fines.

Governmental bureaucracy at work.

The tire flew over several large buildings, knocked over a lamppost, but did not hit anyone.

Pete told me he took 31 frames on Kodak film with a Canon EOS that morning. After the 2nd plane hit he had to "haul ass out of there"
