@zadokism @leahgatonye @Pontifex That verse literally says blessed are the peacemakers , NOT ‘blessed are those who escalate conflict.’ Peacemaking isn’t passive, but it also isn’t defined as aggressive retaliation. Jesus consistently taught restraint, mercy, and reconciliation (turn the other cheek)
