"It's the courts to decide so what does that say about your view of the courts?"
"It says that I will decide in my platform"
Poilievre calls these "my laws".
We can't keep ignoring the authoritarian creep. #cdnpoli 🇨🇦
It was a stunt. My conversation with @MattIngramNEWS about @PierrePoilievre getting kicked out of Question Period for refusing to withdraw his description of the prime minister as a wacko.
Heyoooo, @PierrePoilievre: I’ll vote for you, give you a free platform and donate if you willingly sit for your NatSec background check with your wife and her family. 😂😉
As @OntarioPCParty MPPs again bemoan the rise in the federal carbon price from $65 to $80 a tonne, they neglect to admit that Premier Doug Ford’s industrial carbon tax will jump by the same amount on Jan. 1.

“I had limited information” when I announced to the world that a now thoroughly exonerated man whose case should never have gone to trial was definitely guilty is not the defence @fordnation seems to think it is.
Having declined to apologize, Doug Ford should be asked to resign.

Oosterhoff just asked about the "direct" impacts of the carbon tax on groceries
There are only indirect impacts, since the tax does not apply to groceries.
Americans are also changing how they heat and cool their homes—one of the largest drivers of energy use in the U.S.
In 2023, heat pump sales outpaced gas furnaces for the second year in a row—outselling their fossil fuel rival by 27%.
Anti-Israel and antisemitic rhetoric continue to escalate, as demonstrated in this clip. Peaceful protest does not include chants supporting or celebrating terrorist massacres. Societal reluctance to deal with the normalization of antisemitism and glorification of terror allows for words to turn to violence. October 7th was a day of terror, condemned by governments around the world. Why would any peace-loving Canadian chant this phrase? There is much hard work ahead to resolve the many issues before us, but glorifying terror is not the way.
Bingo. This complaint has been my favourite: “What about people selling their cottage?” Or those with multiple properties?
Ummm…I don’t care about them. Let’s maybe make sure we worry about everyone having a single home before we get worked up about those who own two or more.
