My Twitter feed has become like my Facebook feed. It's 90% disinformation (probably AI generated), with 10% posts from people I follow. It feels like I'm in a room with 10 friends and I'm trying to listen to what they're saying while 90 strangers are yelling nonsensical shite.
@pighilltweets What I can't get my head around is the effort it must have taken to cut the tree down. It's not like it was a random act of opportunistic vandalism. Whoever did it must have really hated that tree.

Depression is so soul destroying. It slowly strips the motivation to do things while making you feel apathetic. Which lets the bad thoughts fester, and makes the illogical feel logical. But not all the time. Sometimes it hides, waiting in the shadows.
@velohistorian @LincsCC_roads I don’t cycle, but I do walk along that stretch of road fairly often and have seen how scary it must be for cyclists. It’s madness.
I was just explaining to my kids (6 and 8) how VHS cassettes and DVDs work. They found VHS cassettes especially strange. I feel absolutely ancient now.
@LuckyHeronSay Absolutely. My plans for tomorrow have been turned upside down by various sectors going on strike, but I still support them. Disruption is the point, and I’ll suffer some inconvenience because of their strikes if it helps them get what they need.
@Moscowasadog The butter is a crucial ingredient. A bacon butty is one of life’s joys, and it’s easy to do it right. Even if the butter is substituted for a dairy-free alternative such as Vitalite it works pretty much as well as butter.
