Over under 15 years till the UK is practically unlivable? We're gonna go over 40 in July easy and the only way to make the country livable is a massive state project that is utterly incomprehensible to the modern British state such that it exists
The fact that climate change & how to fix it is not the number one story every single day is proof of something deep & scarily wrong with our society.
do you reckon climate deniers will ever be like "my bad I was clearly wrong" or are they still gonna be posting "lovely bit of sun! don't see what all the fuss is about" when it's 40° for a week straight in may
@females_db_park Sounds like Mick Philpott here in the UK. Killed 6 of his kids from his legal wife in a staged fire after his mistress left him, intending to be a hero and save them while pinning the blame on her. The main difference is he got life in prison.
@KitCarnage@B00GIEpunk Because can you imagine someone saying "what is the purpose of a female in a shop that sells vests and boxers?"
It's all just repackaged misogyny imo
"Adults would still be able to take, share or view nude content through an age verification process” is just such a dystopian sentence
But that’s where we are. In like two years, we’ve gone from “we just want to make adult sites block kids” to “yes, it’s totally reasonable to make people submit their IDs or do facial recognition before they can use a computer or phone”
🚨 BREAKING: Everyone who joined our NHS–Palantir campaign has now had a reply from NHS England's Data Protection Officer.
In writing, they confirmed:
▸ Palantir staff can access identifiable patient data before it's pseudonymised
▸ There is no opt-out from the Federated Data Platform
▸ Your Article 21 right to object has been formally refused
They've confirmed it. They won't change it.
Next step: a formal ICO complaint, citing their own response.
We're building a one-click escalation tool for campaign participants. Watch this space.
