@DasherGDD@GEagle603 yeah i've never seen there be some overall consensus hardest play on a map or anything of the sort in osu; whereas in GD you can immediately point to individual levels that are simply the hardest thing done.
@GEagle603@DasherGDD What exactly is the hardest achievement in Osu?
Like, what could be compared to the current GD skill ceiling (Grief 97% by Doggie)?
@abbycartridges_@Daedraa0 It's really ignorant to say that Doggie couldn't do Tidal Wave in 2 runs when he had the exact same achievements as other top players who eventually BEAT Tidal Wave during that same time. The only reason Doggie didn't end up going for Tidal Wave is because GRIEF happened.
@abbycartridges_@Daedraa0 Doggie beat Acheron 4 months before Trick and literally over a year before wPopoff. Terrible comparisons.
The source on 2.1 Acheron being harder is Zoink and Doggie, who have both said it's harder than Silent Clubstep 2.2; this is generally agreed upon in the community.
@abbycartridges_@Daedraa0 2.1 Acheron is harder than subsuming vortex
The idea that Doggie in 2023 couldn't get Tidal Wave in 2 runs is so unfathomably silly. He was around the same level of skill as Trick and Popoff at that time. He beat Acheron, SC, SLH, and VSC lmao.
@abbycartridges_@Daedraa0 Yes lol wtf??? You realize even 2022 Doggie had beaten Acheron 2.1 on a fucking MOUSE? Which, to this day, is the hardest thing ever done on mouse in the game btw...
A6 is a respectable player. I just hope he nerfs Vehemence a bit, because it is currently in a state that is not realistically verifiable. Similar to Kocmoc Unleashed.
@damnbrothatscr7@LAM1NGTON Popoff's raw skill and talent with the mentality and obsession with the game that Zoink has would be something really special.
I think that version of Popoff would've verified Vehemence in that super top 1 state it was in.
@Abix1051352@LAM1NGTON The difference is that outside of Grief runs, Doggie has pretty much nothing on Zoink or Popoff. His hardest completed level (2.1 Acheron) is not even in the top 10.
Also, both Zoink and Popoff are progressing on similarly hard levels much faster than Doggie with Grief.
@Inurwalls225251@LAM1NGTON I think that if you're talking purely about the "best" player all around, Zoink is clearly that. He's beaten more top levels, has a consistent record, and has held the top 1 spot for years, etc
But Popoff just has more raw skill imo, yeah. maybe zoink is better at wave idk.
@LAM1NGTON The hardest thing Zoink has done in the game is only the 4th hardest thing that Popoff has done. And he did it in half the amount of attempts that Zoink took
You can't even compare amethyst because popoff played without CBF which makes it much harder.
@LAM1NGTON Zoink's Top Achievements:
1. Thinking Space 2
2. Amethyst CBF
3. Heliopolis 51%
4. Flamewall
5. Tidal Wave
Popoff's Top Achievements
1. Amethyst No CBF (x2)
2. Society 67%
3. Thinking Space 2 84%, 86% back to back
4. Thinking Space 2
5. Slaughterhouse 3x in a row
@stuffingbrained I agree for stuff that is just blatantly humanly impossible (most of that shit is absolute slop), but I actually really like levels like Aeternus that sort of sit on the edge of impossibility. Silent Clubstep and Exasperation are older examples of this too.
@zatequals3@benbotwyd Also, these aren't 'marginal differences' whatsoever. Of the people who answered, you have:
55-26 (+29) - trans for minors
49-26 (+23) - trans bathrooms
47-34 (+13) - trans in schools
On some of the questions asked.
That's a MASSIVE difference in favor of the conservatives.
@zatequals3@benbotwyd In statistics, 5,000 people is actually a very good amount to have. Anything after 1,000 gives diminishing returns. Even for a population like the USA.
Also, I'm not saying to take my word as fact. But if you just look at the general trends in the USA, it's pretty supported.
@zatequals3@benbotwyd Btw, even though "trans rights" is different from trans identity, it is still very much related. Those views stem from the fact that people just ultimately do not view trans people as the gender they identify as.
Plus it's a lot harder to find sources on 'identity.'
@zatequals3@benbotwyd 'The world' is significantly more conservative than the USA. This is basic geopolitics.
Also, kinda funny that you say "Republican americans" when the study is just US Adults.
The only region in the world that would possibly be more favorable to trans people is western EU.
