@vfsglobalcare The application was received on the 19th of June 2025. I was told that it takes two days to deliver the application but in this case, it took more than that. I am concerned as my travel is almost here (6th of July 2025). I therefore request an expedition of this application

Still uncertain — but suspected to be linked to regions where Eucalyptus is native (Australia and nearby islands).

💧 Appears soon after rain
🌞 Trees recover during dry periods
🧬 Affects Eucalyptus species, especially in cooler, higher-altitude areas

The fungus:
🔬 Slow-growing colonies
Grows best at 25 °C
🧫 Produce orange to red-pigmented toxin on media
🧪 Still relatively unknown biologically
📍 First reported in in 2023

Severe infections cause:
⚠️ Girdled, distorted shoots
⚠️ Crinkled leaves
⚠️ Loss of apical dominance
⚠️ Epicormic shoots
⚠️ Eventual death of susceptible clones after repeated infections

What does it look like?
ESSM affects young leaves and shoots the most.
Early symptoms:
🔸 Small, brown-black necrotic spots
🔸 Surrounded by yellow halos
🔸 Deformation & curvature of leaves
🔸 Shot-hole effect from dried lesions
