Another 9 APC leaders across different local governments in Osun State have resigned.
The exodus continues as more people reject the APC's declining fortunes. Gov. Adeleke has shown that genuine support is earned, not forced.
More to come before August 15.

WE SHALL WIN AUGUST 15 POLLS, IGNORE SCAREMONGERING - GOVERNOR ADELEKE
● SAYS ACCORD IS OPEN TO NEW MEMBERS
OSOGBO - 07/06/2026 - https://t.co/IAkLUVPQ2k
Governor Ademola Adeleke has tasked Osun residents and indigenes to ignore rumours and scaremongering about the forthcoming gubernatorial elections, declaring “we shall win convincingly and we shall be declared winner with wide margins”
Responding to concerns in some quarters about election rigging and political violence, the governor said all hands are on deck to ensure that “our people exercise their voting rights without any hindrance”, vowing that “our votes will count and we shall emerge victorious”
Governor Adeleke called on Osun people to ignore the scaremongering, the rigging rumours and the threats, stressing that those peddling fear mongering have only strengthened the determination of the people to sustain and retain good governance.
“According to the Governor, residents and voters are resolved to enforce free and fair elections within the ambit of the law, as well as through formal and informal structures, declaring that “No one, I repeat, no one can deny Osun people their legitimate rights to choose their leaders.
“We are the cradle of Yoruba nation. We are the ancestral state of Mr President. No security or electoral official will dare attempt to set Osun state on fire. No federal official will contemplate rigging the forthcoming elections in Osun state.
“We will resist any move or ploy to tamper with the electoral process. We are closely monitoring all pre-election activities while watching machinery has been set for both election and post- election period. We are not taking anything to chance.”, the governor assures the public.
On the political rupture within the Osun main opposition party, Governor Adeleke called on all politicians of goodwill to join hands with him to sustain current statewide delivery of good governance.
“Our candidature is beyond party lines. Ours is a pan-Osun movement, a rainbow coalition, to ensure the final exit of the state from under-development. So our doors are open for new members to join our party.
“I call on politicians and non-political stakeholders to join me in Accord ahead of August 15. It is better to abandon a sinking ship and join the light which my candidature represents”, Governor Adeleke stated.

Vote Governor Ademola Adeleke.
Here is a video of Oluremi Omowaiye, recorded six years ago, in which he admitted that the administration of former Governor Gboyega Oyetola procured security drones for Osun State. Today, Osun people are asking a simple question: where are those drones? If the drones were fully paid for with taxpayers' money, the public deserves clear answers regarding their whereabouts and operational status. Osun residents are also demanding that Oluremi Omowaiye explain his role, if any, in the procurement and management of the security drones. Questions continue to be raised about whether due process was followed, why the procurement process was allegedly circumvented, and what became of the drones after payment was completed. Transparency and accountability are necessary to clear the air on this matter.

Today, as we commemorate World Environment Day, we are reminded that the fight against climate change and environmental degradation requires the collective efforts of every citizen, community, institution, and government.
The environment sustains our lives, provides our food, water, and livelihoods, and serves as the foundation for our future prosperity. Yet, it faces increasing threats from deforestation, pollution, unsustainable practices, and the impacts of climate change.
In response, we must all become environmental stewards by planting trees, protecting our natural resources, reducing waste, embracing renewable energy, and promoting sustainable lifestyles.
As part of this year’s commemoration, we invite all residents, stakeholders, students, and environmental advocates to join us as we continue our tree-planting campaign across secondary schools and a tertiary institution today in Osun state. Every tree planted is a commitment to cleaner air, a healthier environment, enhanced biodiversity, and a more climate-resilient future.
Join us today. Plant a tree. Protect the environment. Secure the future.
Happy World Environment Day!

In four years, Governor Ademola Adeleke has significantly grown the Internally Generated Revenue of Osun from N24.47billion in 2022 to N58billion in 2025.
This is the result of a deliberate effort to block all loopholes of government funds and resources, and a financially prudent, transparent and accountable government.

@AdekolaHebeeb@davido Bwala wasn't lying when he said that the moment you join APC, your brain stops functioning. Just pray that you and your family receive the same grace that God Almighty gave @davido .

Osun APC loses further grip as Hon. Adesina Rabiu Atanda (ARA), one of the two Assembly members dump party, defects to Accord ahead of August 15, 2026 election.

Facts don’t lie. In December 2022, Osun’s food inflation stood at 22.24%. Today, it has dropped to 11.9%. Strategic investments in agriculture, support for farmers, and a commitment to food security are delivering measurable results. Progress is visible, and it must be protected.
Regardless of our political differences, everyone must make sure they are not contributing to insecurity in our nation. The attack on the Chairman of Accord Party in Osogbo Local Government by political hoodlums must be condemned and rejected by all. If APC is sure they are popular, let’s settle this with ballot papers, not guns or weapons.
Governor Adeleke Champions Food Security With Strategic Investment in Mechanized Farming
From reducing food inflation to supporting farmers with modern equipment and strategic agricultural interventions, Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration is steadily building a more food-secure Osun State. The drop in food inflation from 22.24% in December 2022 to 11.9% in December 2025 reflects deliberate policies aimed at boosting food production, empowering local farmers, and easing the burden on households across the state.
Through continuous investment in agriculture, rural support programs, and people-focused governance, the Adeleke administration is not just talking about food security, it is delivering visible results that impact everyday lives. Osun is moving forward with a government committed to prosperity, affordability, and sustainable growth for all.

Yesterday, I was deeply humbled by the overwhelming endorsement from the Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP), Osun State Chapter, and the strong support of organized labour ahead of the August 15 gubernatorial election.
Our administration remains committed to the welfare of pensioners and workers through prompt payment of salaries and pensions, settlement of inherited arrears, implementation of the ₦25,000 pension award, access to free healthcare through enrollment into Osun Health Insurance Scheme (OHIS), and people-centered policies that restore dignity and hope.
I appreciate our pensioners and workers for recognizing these efforts and for standing firmly with our government. With Imole continuity agenda, we will build a better Osun where workers are respected, pensioners are cared for, and the people remain at the center of governance.
AFTER 13 YEARS, HOPE RESTORED.

Governor Ademola Adeleke has received a resounding endorsement from the Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP), Osun State Chapter, citing the administration’s remarkable commitment to pensioners’ welfare as the basis for their support ahead of the August 15 gubernatorial election.
Speaking during the endorsement ceremony, the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Osun State Chapter, Alhaji (Chief) S. Ola Odefisayo, described the occasion as a historic and memorable moment for pensioners across the state, noting that Governor Adeleke’s administration has transformed the lives of retirees through people-centered policies and compassionate governance.
According to the NUP Chairman, pensioners remain enthusiastic about the free medical services provided through the Osun Health Insurance Scheme (OHIS), describing the initiative as a major intervention that has significantly improved access to healthcare for senior citizens. He also commended the governor for ensuring prompt payment of pensions and allowances as and when due.
Alhaji Odefisayo further praised Governor Adeleke for recognizing the dignity of pensioners and treating them with respect, adding that the administration’s achievements include the payment of half-salary deductions inherited from previous administrations, donation of a bus to pensioners, provision of borehole facilities through OHIS, implementation of a ₦25,000 minimum pension, prompt payment of contributory pension obligations, and approval of outstanding pension adjustments.
