We visited over 6 schools yesterday, ahead of todayโs commemoration of World Environment Day.
We spoke about climate change.
We inspired action.
We planted trees.
Because the best climate policy is one that reaches the next generation.
Every tree planted today is a vote for cleaner air, healthier communities, and a sustainable future for Osun State.
The future is not something we inherit.
It is something we grow.
One tree. One child. One future at a time. ๐ฑ

Today, as we commemorate World Environment Day, we are reminded that the fight against climate change and environmental degradation requires the collective efforts of every citizen, community, institution, and government.
The environment sustains our lives, provides our food, water, and livelihoods, and serves as the foundation for our future prosperity. Yet, it faces increasing threats from deforestation, pollution, unsustainable practices, and the impacts of climate change.
In response, we must all become environmental stewards by planting trees, protecting our natural resources, reducing waste, embracing renewable energy, and promoting sustainable lifestyles.
As part of this yearโs commemoration, we invite all residents, stakeholders, students, and environmental advocates to join us as we continue our tree-planting campaign across secondary schools and a tertiary institution today in Osun state. Every tree planted is a commitment to cleaner air, a healthier environment, enhanced biodiversity, and a more climate-resilient future.
Join us today. Plant a tree. Protect the environment. Secure the future.
Happy World Environment Day!

In four years, Governor Ademola Adeleke has significantly grown the Internally Generated Revenue of Osun from N24.47billion in 2022 to N58billion in 2025.
This is the result of a deliberate effort to block all loopholes of government funds and resources, and a financially prudent, transparent and accountable government.

Osun APC loses further grip as Hon. Adesina Rabiu Atanda (ARA), one of the two Assembly members dump party, defects to Accord ahead of August 15, 2026 election.
Imoleeeeeeeee
Facts donโt lie. In December 2022, Osunโs food inflation stood at 22.24%. Today, it has dropped to 11.9%. Strategic investments in agriculture, support for farmers, and a commitment to food security are delivering measurable results. Progress is visible, and it must be protected.
Regardless of our political differences, everyone must make sure they are not contributing to insecurity in our nation. The attack on the Chairman of Accord Party in Osogbo Local Government by political hoodlums must be condemned and rejected by all. If APC is sure they are popular, letโs settle this with ballot papers, not guns or weapons.
Governor Adeleke Champions Food Security With Strategic Investment in Mechanized Farming
From reducing food inflation to supporting farmers with modern equipment and strategic agricultural interventions, Governor Ademola Adelekeโs administration is steadily building a more food-secure Osun State. The drop in food inflation from 22.24% in December 2022 to 11.9% in December 2025 reflects deliberate policies aimed at boosting food production, empowering local farmers, and easing the burden on households across the state.
Through continuous investment in agriculture, rural support programs, and people-focused governance, the Adeleke administration is not just talking about food security, it is delivering visible results that impact everyday lives. Osun is moving forward with a government committed to prosperity, affordability, and sustainable growth for all.

Yesterday, I was deeply humbled by the overwhelming endorsement from the Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP), Osun State Chapter, and the strong support of organized labour ahead of the August 15 gubernatorial election.
Our administration remains committed to the welfare of pensioners and workers through prompt payment of salaries and pensions, settlement of inherited arrears, implementation of the โฆ25,000 pension award, access to free healthcare through enrollment into Osun Health Insurance Scheme (OHIS), and people-centered policies that restore dignity and hope.
I appreciate our pensioners and workers for recognizing these efforts and for standing firmly with our government. With Imole continuity agenda, we will build a better Osun where workers are respected, pensioners are cared for, and the people remain at the center of governance.
AFTER 13 YEARS, HOPE RESTORED.
Governor Ademola Adeleke's administration has paid โฆ2.75bn in outstanding insurance benefits to 747 beneficiaries, delivering long-awaited relief and keeping faith with workers and their families.
You have come again with fake data.
Find below the correct figure of what Oyetola paid to pensioners under the state and local government during his tenure. Compare and contrast the figures with what Ademola Adeleke has paid and you will understand why AMBO and APC have been rejected in Osun.
No amount of propaganda and whitewashing will save AMBO from the impending defeat come August 15!

Security Matters: Governor Adeleke Continues Security Council Meetings
OSOGBO - 02/06/2026 - https://t.co/fRzeiXKpdK
Governor Ademola Adeleke today continues the hosting of security meetings which started two days ago to preempt likely security threats.
The various meetings started with internal security reviews followed by further consultations on aligning formal and informal security networks to strengthen security of lives and properties.
The governor had met representatives of local hunters, Oodua Peoples Congress, Agbekoyas and the state security outfit, the Amotekun service.
The interaction and brainstorming sessions build a coalition of informal security structures designed to complement the efforts of the formal security organisations.
As part of statewide intelligence mapping, the governor has also received the informal report about areas of threats, likely hot-spots and vulnerable border areas.
This afternoon, the formal state security council involving all service commanders commenced at the Governor's Office.
According to the Security Adviser to the Governor, Mr Samuel Ojo, the meeting firmed up pre-emptive security actions to stop any likely school kidnappings.
โThe details of the security strategy are being kept secret. But on behalf of Mr Governor, I want to assure our people that Osun is safe and secureโ, the security adviser posited.

Spokesperson to the State Governor.
Governor Adeleke didnโt stumble into leadership. His record of service, compassion, and commitment to the people predates his governorship. From his years in public office, including his time in the Senate, his contributions have been traceable, verifiable, and people-centered. Today, that depth of experience is driving visible progress across Osun.
Unlike AMBO, whose public service records often raise more questions than answers, Adelekeโs trajectory is marked by consistent results and accountability. Time and again, he has shown reliability in public responsibility across different levels of service. The progress is visible, the direction is clear, and the mandate remains to protect and sustain it.

Governor Ademola Adeleke has reassured Osun people that his government has taken proactive steps to secure Osun schools, urging the public to ignore recent false alarms about school kidnappings in some parts of the state.
The governor who described the rumour as the handiwork of evil opposition elements said fact checks from the border areas and across the state confirmed that there was no case of kidnappings.
โI task our people to go about their normal activities without fear. Our government has taken steps to secure our schools. The Ministry of Education and the relevant security agencies have worked out a security strategy that is being implementedโ, the governor noted.
He reiterated that parents and guardians should not panic as the said alarm was false and the handiwork of opposition elements seeking to plunge the state into chaos.
The governor further updated the public about the armoured vehicles abandoned by the Oyetola administration in various locations, briefing the public that Armoured Personnel Carriers have been fully refurbished and ready for deployment.
The governor said his administration inherited the knocked down APCs in various locations, noting that they were reworked and rehabilitated for deployment in areas of need under joint operations by security agencies.
