An observation after working with HS athletes for 2 years. We don’t stress the importance of maturity for an athlete’s level of success. You can be a clown and have a great time, but you will never reach your potential without a mature approach and you are hurting your team.

You wouldn’t wear Crocs on the football field, on a wrestling mat, during a race. Have a tiny bit of discipline and show up with the appropriate foot wear to train in the weight room. Little things matter.

Yesterday, at then end of Spring Break, these guys brought home some hardware! Congratulations, Mehki, Leroi, J'shawn, Carlo, and Brandon! The Pirates finished 3rd in Traditional Lift and 4th in Olympic Lift at the Lake Wales Invitational. We're growing every week!

Carlo Picciurro and J'shawn Jones finished 1st in both the Olympic and Traditional lifts on Wednesday night. The teams fought to a 42-42 tie in Traditional. The Bulls of Wiregrass Ranch claimed the 46-38 win in Olympic.
