Good news: I grew up in the generation that was scarred by India’s 7-1 loss to Pakistan in hockey at the 1982 Asian Games. To now see India beat Pakistan by the same margin is, I must say, a moment of sweet sporting redemption! Maybe we need to play Pakistan more, not less when we are a way superior hockey and cricket team, no? 😁Jai Ho!🇮🇳

Meanwhile your poor son has the responsibility to save Hinduism on streets.
IMPORTANT: West Bengal is reportedly dropping eggs from school mid-day meals and handing over a vegetarian-only meal contract to ISKCON. Meanwhile, states like Karnataka and Tamil Nadu are expanding nutrition for children with more protein-rich food. School meals should be guided by science and nutrition, not politics or religious preferences. Keep ideology off a child’s plate, for God’s sake. 🙏
Remembering Rajinder Kumar Tikoo: A Kashmiri Pandit who Hizb Terrorists killed.
On 22 June 1990, Rajinder Kumar Tikoo, the son of Prithvi Lal Tikoo, a resident of Batapora, Shopian, in south Kashmir, lost his life in a terror incident at Jamia Masjid, Shopian.
His death was not just the loss of an individual; it was the loss of a son, a family member, and a cherished part of his Kashmiri Pandit community. The tragedy left behind a family forced to live with a grief that time could never erase.
More than three decades later, the memory of Rajinder Kumar Tikoo continues to live on in the hearts of those who knew him. Today, we remember him with respect and honour, paying tribute to a life cut short and a family forever changed by loss.

Physical attacks are a sign of fear and cowardice.
We will continue to raise our voices peacefully. I am a follower of Gandhi and Ambedkar, and I will keep fighting this battle with peace and love.
PS: Dharmendra Pradhan must resign!
Monday thought: In this summer of ironies and surprises, who would have imagined a Pakistani PM announcing a US-Iran peace deal the world had been waiting for?
In a world turned upside down, yesterday’s cross-border terror sponsor can suddenly project itself as today’s peacemaker. And we, the aspiring ‘Vishwaguru’, watch from the sidelines, busily breaking parties and manufacturing a LS majority. 🙏
Muted cabinet video. Modi speaking, everyone listening. Optics they are trying hard to push: strong leader, hardest worker, smartest person in the room.
For all we know, he might just be explaining his dhokla recipe.

BLIND PATRIOTISM
A man walking with confidence, about to step off the plinth, blinded by the flag.
A metaphor for the times we live in, extreme nationalism clouding judgment, critical thinking.
