Central Park is Bangkok’s new hangout overlooking Lumphini Park, mixing shopping, lots of restaurants, and most of all, a stunning rooftop. Head up to the vast garden for panoramic views of the park and Bangkok skyline beyond. The busy walkways and photogenic spots around small waterfalls are the latest selfie playground, so expect a lot of people up there! Inside, it’s packed with restaurants, from trendy international names to local favourites, so it’s easy to grab dinner after your visit to the rooftop.

Ton Mayom (ต้นมะยม) is a long-standing restaurant near Phuket Town, known for authentic Southern Thai cuisine. Initially a hidden local favourite, it gained fame after being recognised by the Michelin Guide. Run by our long-time friends Khun Hua and her sister Khun Aood; the restaurant offers a casual, family-friendly atmosphere with bold, traditional flavours. Now a bustling restaurant, it serves fresh, locally sourced dishes, ranging from classic to more adventurous dishes. Some dishes are notably spicy, reflecting Southern Thai culinary traditions. Note that it is hard to find and a bit hard to park as well, but it is so worth it!

Hua Lamphong Railway Station in Bangkok, officially known as Bangkok Railway Station, is one of the city’s iconic landmarks. Opened in 1916, this grand building is located in the heart of Bangkok and served as a major transportation hub for trains connecting Bangkok to other parts of Thailand. It is now a superb historical building near Bangkok Chinatown that is worth visiting. https://t.co/oYm4GgsaOS
@lilyraynyc I’ve been building a human travel guide to Phuket for 11 years with real photos and real exploration. This update was painful, but we’ll fight back since we are true to our readers. https://t.co/NCss25P6E2

Akara Sky Hanuman Bangkok Rooftop on the 61st floor of the One City Center in the Ploenchit area (opposite the Central Embassy shopping mall). The rooftop started discreetly and within a week, became packed, so if you want a table, better call in advance.

We spent the weekend at COMO Point Yamu on the east coast of Phuket. Superb hotel, large rooms beautifully decorated, with excellent restaurants and great views over the immense infinity pool. It's a perfect hideaway if you want to get away from it all. https://t.co/lx2UtE4W0p

House of Tin Baron is a new Thai restaurant coming on September 14 in Phuket Town, set in a beautifully renovated Sino-Portuguese heritage house. We were given the chance to visit the mansion before the opening: https://t.co/zOijhyunc7
We had a great weekend at Avista Hideaway Phuket Patong, just a couple of km south of Patong Beach. The hotel has a rooftop bar and restaurant (Sizzle) and the highlight of our stay was definitely the amazing Indian restaurant called Tambu.
