Ton Mayom (ต้นมะยม) is a long-standing restaurant near Phuket Town, known for authentic Southern Thai cuisine. Initially a hidden local favourite, it gained fame after being recognised by the Michelin Guide. Run by our long-time friends Khun Hua and her sister Khun Aood; the restaurant offers a casual, family-friendly atmosphere with bold, traditional flavours. Now a bustling restaurant, it serves fresh, locally sourced dishes, ranging from classic to more adventurous dishes. Some dishes are notably spicy, reflecting Southern Thai culinary traditions. Note that it is hard to find and a bit hard to park as well, but it is so worth it!

Hua Lamphong Railway Station in Bangkok, officially known as Bangkok Railway Station, is one of the city’s iconic landmarks. Opened in 1916, this grand building is located in the heart of Bangkok and served as a major transportation hub for trains connecting Bangkok to other parts of Thailand. Akara Sky Hanuman Bangkok Rooftop on the 61st floor of the One City Center in the Ploenchit area (opposite the Central Embassy shopping mall). The rooftop started discreetly and within a week, became packed, so if you want a table, better call in advance.

We had a great weekend at Avista Hideaway Phuket Patong, just a couple of km south of Patong Beach. The hotel has a rooftop bar and restaurant (Sizzle) and the highlight of our stay was definitely the amazing Indian restaurant called Tambu.
