My god this is such a good speech that every SWE needs to hear. You know what? Every person should hear it
Keep the happy memories, eyes on the reality, be excited about the future. That’s the best that anyone can do
Collaboration shouldn't leave you and your teammate mentally drained.
Drawdy help people collaborate better with each other and with AI, a work board that brings out the best in both sides while leaving minimal cognitive debt.
Our real 10x productivity must start from here.
Drawing every diagram yourself is over.
Describe what you need. Your AI agent draws it on the board. You and your team take it from there.
This is Drawdy. The whiteboard that works your way.
I built a recommendation engine with Jev by @typesafeai, and it works better than I expected for something running on a large dataset.
engine is now live at https://t.co/uPvGhThsK8 describe your mood, and it will suggest a shortlist of great movies especially for you.
I got whitelisted for Jev by @typesafeai and sat on it for hours. Robotics work was tempting at first glance, but that would have eaten my whole week, so I picked something I could finish in one sitting.
I ended up building a small roleplay chatbot, the novel kind where the story unfolds as you play, and let Jev read along the output. Every time the chatbot writes a new piece of story, Jev reads it and picks the background scene and the music that fit the current mood of the story.
The outcome is better than I expected. It's accurate and super fast. I played all day and the whole thing cost me just $0.02.
Go try it here: https://t.co/EjMfnalGg0
You play as Jon Snow (Game of Thrones), and the scene and the BGM shift with every move you make. The GitHub repo is also in the replies.
My take is that Jev is best for use cases where you already know all the possible desired states and you want an intelligent layer to make fast decisions within the pipeline, rather than relying on a traditional LLM. Robotics and automation work fit that shape well, and it's probably something I would like to try next.
You don't become senior by being the person who solves the hardest problem.
You become senior when the people around you start solving harder problems because you're there.
