First call out on call last night for a deteriorating NIV patient. Turned out to be a false alarm as the dr mistook a Venous gas for an ABG. Even though I didn’t attend it’s given me more confidence for my next on call!

I can’t believe I’m preparing for my first 6 month appraisal! It feels like only yesterday I submitted that last uni assignment! Amazing opportunity to reflect before rotating to a new area and hospital next week ☺️

@sebestjanowicz I felt the same when I saw a patient at 9:30! His response I need to stay in bed because I have a scan soon...
It was documented on his board for 1:30!

Today I walked through the door for my first day as a real physio at the same hospital I started my first ever placement! The same first day nerves and the same excitement of what’s to come!
