@PeterRimmer74 @WinfordBradRuth @alexJonesy98 @puckandrally the american youth system is insane. we have a whole network called AAU (Amateur Atheletic Union). can watch a 7u national tournament. all this working independently from the school infrastructure. across multiple sports too. unionized 7 year olds lol

@PeterRimmer74 @alexJonesy98 @WinfordBradRuth @puckandrally also if ur looking for cultural similarities in sports, you're more likely to find it at the college/hs level in america. the tribalism with college/hs sports is much stronger and closer to the european relationship with sports.

@PeterRimmer74 @alexJonesy98 @WinfordBradRuth @puckandrally colleges in the US also have tiers, we just call them divisions. there are even multiple different governing bodies with their own tiering systems (NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA). the US has almost 4k different colleges playing multiple sports across multiple divions. HSs also same.
