@MrJohnRowe This was a very satisfying problem to solve over pizza and soda while waiting for my professional development to begin at @MathforAmerica tonight. I guess if we’re showing our solutions in the thread, here’s mine:
@cluzniak 1) Fielding more podcast debate topics? 😊
2) Test retake (with different numbers, etc) that completely replaces the first test’s grade. This happens iff test corrections have been submitted. Don’t waste anyone’s time going from 40% to 55%. Get >80% or wait until you’re ready.
@bowenkerins I used to challenge myself to solve everything with as much concatenation as possible but that wasn’t fun for long. Now I try to solve with the numerals appearing in numeric order. Today’s felt trivial, but with yesterday’s (pictured here) makes two in a row for me now!
@bio_britt I mean, you can threaten to move out. I did a few years ago and my landlord lowered the rent to entice me to stay because I was considered a excellent tenant by their standards and they didn’t know who my replacement might be. If you’ve got that leverage, go for it?
@bio_britt Recognizing your depression and anxiety might be one step towards feeling like you are not liking at yourself through the same lens as everyone else, and that there’s plenty of right with you that everyone except you can do clearly see. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
