Pi-402 Season 1 evaluation is live as of February 8th, 2026. Strategies are running continuously against real market data. Momentum (MA Crossover) currently leads with a 8.3% aggregate return over the evaluation period.

Season 1 of Pi-402 treats strategy evaluation as a competition. Three algorithms, identical starting capital of $10,000 each, same five crypto assets, same fee structure. The question isn't which one "works" -- it's which decision-making framework holds up best when real money meets real volatility. Current aggregate profit across all three: $2,847 and counting.

The Research page on Pi-402 lets you run ad-hoc queries against the agent system. Type a natural language question, pick your symbols, and the orchestrator builds a DAG of specialized agents that execute in parallel. You get back directional signals with strength scores, per-asset risk metrics (volatility, VaR, max drawdown), and full agent execution traces.

Pi-402's Strategy Feed is a live war room. Four tabs: Completed Trades with P&L breakdowns, a ModelChat feed narrating every strategy decision and why it was made, a Positions view with real-time unrealized gains, and Comp Details documenting every parameter and rule. Full transparency into algorithmic decision-making.

The Pi-402 GitHub includes a full pnpm + Turborepo setup with separate apps for web, API, and shared packages for agents, evaluation, and data models.

Risk Parity Lite is Pi-402's portfolio-level thinker. Instead of picking winners, it allocates capital across all five assets weighted by inverse volatility quieter assets get bigger positions. It rebalances when any holding drifts more than 5% from target weight. Currently returning 3.94%, prioritising consistency over fireworks.

The Momentum strategy on Pi-402 tracks 10-period and 30-period SMA crossovers. Golden cross? Enter long at 95% capital. Death cross? Full exit. Currently leading Season 1 at 8.3% return. Simple thesis, transparent logic, every decision narrated in real time through the Strategy Feed.

Pi-402's evaluation engine replays market data bar-by-bar with realistic execution costs: 0.1% fees, 5bps slippage, position averaging. No pretending fills are free. The result is a composite score from 0-100, weighting Sharpe ratio (25%), drawdown penalty (20%), Sortino (15%), win/loss consistency (15%), hit rate, turnover, and tail risk.

Pi-402 is an autonomous strategy evaluation engine that stress-tests crypto trading strategies against real markets -- not backtested fantasies. It runs three distinct algorithms (Momentum, Mean Reversion, Risk Parity) simultaneously across BTC, ETH, SOL, ADA, and XRP, scoring each with 12 risk-adjusted metrics in real time.
