We are proud to announce that we have agreed with @FourSeasons to host the ASEAN E-Sports Chess Cup 2026 at this exceptional venue in Bangkok.

Together with Sahapol Nakvanich, President of the Thailand Chess Association and President of the ASEAN Chess Confederation, we are proud to launch a new international initiative:

The ASEAN E-Sports Chess Cup.

This event will bring together the strongest players from across ASEAN and leading stars of the international chess world in a modern digital format designed for a global audience.

💰 Prize Fund: $20,000

🥇 1st place — $8,500
🥈 2nd place — $6,000
🥉 3rd place — $2,500
4th place — $1,500
5th place — $1,000
6th place — $500

♟ Format
•Time control: 10+0
•Played on computers (E-Sports format)

🌏 Participants
•Each ASEAN federation is invited to nominate its strongest player
•11 players from ASEAN (one per country)
•5 invited international superstars

The tournament will be played in a knockout format, creating exciting matches and a dynamic broadcast experience for chess fans worldwide.

📍 Location: Bangkok, Thailand
📅 Date: 13 June

Registration will close on 30 April.
Pairings will be announced after the registration period.

✈️ All travel and accommodation expenses will be covered for the participants.

to reach more than 10 million viewers across Asia.
