@satorukun_0530 I still think the nuance "rebel" might be in there somewhere, as the idea is quite central to the game, and ひねくる was used before, so maybe this is a bit of a wordplay too. (though the main meaning seems to be something like "messed up/twisted" as you say)
Comparing the Japanese original text of Final Fantasy 7 to the translation is often interesting.
Tifa in the original says (more directly translated) "You're a rebel, cloud, aren't you!" instead of "You're sure messed up, Cloud!", though that's quite humorous!
@satorukun_0530 Oh, it seems like you're entirely correct here! You're right that one should consider monolingual dictionaries. I just knew ひねくる meant "to be contrary/to rebel" in a different sentence and the J-E entry for ひねくれ者 affirmed this, so I didn't double-check :)

@Alexis95747214@bluelynxmktg @davinpicard @RaoulGMI Okay, now i get what you mean. Yeah, that's possible. That potential divergence will have to be evaluated. By the way, it's "contango", not "contago".
@Alexis95747214@bluelynxmktg @davinpicard @RaoulGMI And as i said, there may be a tracking error, but i'm not an expert to evaluate that beforehand or contango. As i said, if you're afraid of contango etc., you can use an existing ETN that's purely BTC backed.
@Alexis95747214@bluelynxmktg @davinpicard @RaoulGMI Yes, futures are not the same as the spot (direct) market, but ideally they should track (follow) the BTC value. The tracking error has to be evaluated. There are also already purely physical BTC ETCs and ETNs which seem to track well. (Also FYI see https://t.co/sqEYkpZdxC)
@bluelynxmktg @davinpicard @RaoulGMI That may be. Some may not need to own crypto, for them it's a diversification in their portfolio, probably mostly filled with funds and stocks. You don't have to be a crypto enthusiast with a wallet to invest in crypto. But I'm not taking a stance, just answering the question.
