In order to maintain social distancing, classroom sizes are going to need to be reduced significantly. And universal masking of students and teachers will be essential to reduce transmission. As I’ve said before, this fall/winter is going to be extremely challenging. 3/3

Sending students to school this fall/winter for 5 days a week, 8 hours a day is likely a very bad idea. A hybrid model of some face-to-face time at school, combined with remote learning seems like a reasonable middle ground. 2/3
