@JaionnaMcReyno1 @nevgig are black people not people ? last i was aware they're included in all lives, so why would such an anti-racist phrase, which promotes judgment based on character, and not skin color or ethnicity, be so offensive ? unless you don't believe that human life has intrinsic value
@BigChonkKai@RisesValknut these problems arise from lack of funding, creating anything demands resources at the very least, and what proof would be acceptable ? discipline which is gained through proper training creates efficiency, however you don't seem to accept that, the problem isn't lack-
@BigChonkKai@RisesValknut more training would most definitely lower the rates of situations such as these occurring , while an overall solution is impossible because as humans we are not perfect, better training such as de-escalation, investment into police and closing the holes in the police unions-
@BigChonkKai@RisesValknut you say older police officers discussing how it went against their training, this is because they were better trained yes ? because in the past, what you needed to become a police officer was more than what you need today in terms of credentials
@BigChonkKai@RisesValknut training creates discipline, this causes less mistakes to occur, which in turn causes efficiency, the video you reference doesn't characterize the entire police force, while racist assholes exist, they are rare, and are ostracized in society (as they should be)
@BigChonkKai @OT7_aremybabies @RisesValknut not necessarily, as one, many don't denounce and two others actively support it, actions speak louder than words, and if for this they have only words, were for other situations, action is taken than that means they simply don't care, which by their logic means they support it
@BigChonkKai @OT7_aremybabies @RisesValknut and titling news to depict a situation that would sell better than the situation with context, for an organization that bases itself on the spread of information leaves a bad taste in the mouth their target is to spread what sells, not necessarily truth
@BigChonkKai @OT7_aremybabies @RisesValknut the media is at it's base capitalist, truth doesn't matter , profits do, hate sells, therefor exaggeration sells, with all this, media can be very misguiding, i believe no source is unbiased and what you're saying is true, when the media sells hate, it generates it
@BigChonkKai @OT7_aremybabies @RisesValknut the fact that the movement accepts these actions however, even if they don't take part make them part of the problem yes ? if you find it to be ignorant, remember when i'm saying this i'm using blm logic with silence=violence, therefor you would find blm ignorant, correct ?
@BigChonkKai@RisesValknut this is because without a deterrent crime goes unpunished, incentivizing others to do the same while humans are fundamentally good, they aren't immune to temptation and creating opportunities for criminals is never a good solution
@BigChonkKai@RisesValknut not true, blm organizer Miski Noor actively wants abolition, this is not challenged by her peers, over-policing causes problems when the officers aren't well trained and while crime rates climb in arithmetic progression, without police it turns into geometric progression
@BigChonkKai@RisesValknut as well as being underpaid for the dangerous nature of their job coupling with the expensive nature of medicine causing some to turn crooked in order to survive, however with more funding and training police would get paid more, with less reason to be crooked
@BigChonkKai@RisesValknut so yes, socialism as a whole is bad, no instances of it have worked and usually have catastrophic results, you pose a fair argument asking which, so i ask you, how would you approach socialism ?
@BigChonkKai@RisesValknut this frustration causes people to have less and less output, usually doing the least possible, while gaining the same as someone who is working hard, examples of this can be found in george orwell's famous book "animal farm"
@BigChonkKai@RisesValknut socialism as a whole focuses on equity , which isn't good for development or day to day life, the system fell apart because of this, humans are different and have different outputs, providing each human equally for varying efforts causes frustration
@BigChonkKai@RisesValknut if proper communication is put as a priority then why all the clashes with police ? if communication truly was shown as a huge importance than why is there so much miscommunication ?
@BigChonkKai @OT7_aremybabies @RisesValknut could say the same about the left extremists, or the predominantly left based news sources justifying similar actions
